Summer 2010

Well, no blog posts in 2010... I am a slacker.

I will send give some highlights on what happened over the summer out our place:

The biggest thing was our family vacation to Breckenridge, Colorado for Matt/Candice's wedding. We flew with the kids which was an adventure and the whole travel experience with them was very 'interesting'. The vacation itself was great as far as the views, hanging out with family, and getting in a little golf in the mountains.

Laura and I also took a weekend trip to Chicago with Andy/Leslie. It was a blast to be kid free for a weekend and we got to see Dave Matthews Band play at Wrigley Field, ate some Gino's East pizza, and the woman got some shopping in.

Lucas is now 5 years old and probably one of the taller 5 years old in his preschool class. He is all about the Reds and baseball right now. I am super excited that he is finally getting into sports. I hope this crosses over into basketball season! All he wants to watch is Reds games and play baseball outside. I was able to take him to a couple of games this year too.

Allison is a blast and talks about as well as Lucas. She is a lot different than Lucas as far as she can entertain herself and is very independent. She loves coloring and her baby dolls. She started going to the Goddard School also and she is really starting to like it there. She is very social and all the kids and grown-ups know her name there.

Other Stuff:

Fav shows right now:
1. Community (almost entering Arrested Development good)
2. Chuck (good, but not great)
3. Modern Family (love me some Sofia Vergara)
4. I wish there were some other dramas to get into. I miss LOST and 24.

Best and probably only movie I have seen in the theater this year would be 'Inception'.

I have only had to mow my grass maybe 3 times since August 1st and it probably didn't really need it 2 of the 3 times.
